Care Home development providing 107 neurological care beds, 36 assisted living units, a therapy centre and associated landscaping and parking. There is also a spacious reception with a specially commissioned glazed atrium to house Roman artefacts found on-site
The state of the art therapy centre contains, hydrotherapy spa pool, gym and private treatment area.
The built form has a visually pleasing and varied roofscape, with the residential scale and mix of heights added to the articulation of the built form to produce a traditional design of building for the locality.
Overall, the landscaped design approach is to provide an outside garden area for residents which allows them to use all the senses to enjoy an experience and freedom and the fresh air, accompanied or unaccompanied. It also allows for use by visitors to the residents who may need the tranquillity and thoughtful places when visiting their friends and relatives.
